BETTESHANGER COLLIERY WELFARE BAND

The band has a history dating back to 1932 when it was officially founded by George Gibb Jnr. as Betteshanger Colliery Welfare Silver Band. Betteshnager Colliery Welfare Band play a number of concerts throughout the year at both indoor and outdoor venues, performing a varied repertoire for just about any occasion. The full band consists of approximately 26 members, depending on the music and percussion required.
